Techucation - Hello from Boston

My name is John McMillen and I am the Chief Information Officer for Graves County Schools in Mayfield, Kentucky. It is my charge to build and maintain a state-of-the-art technological environment to support a world class education for our students and those who shape and support their education.

I also host of Music From the Front Porch on 91.3 WKMS in Murray, KY. The show airs every Saturday morning from 10 AM until 1 PM but I am only able to do every other weekend... so check in and listen to the stream at the above link.

I have a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Murray State University.

Hello from Boston

I am in Boston for a few days… actually I am in Dover, MA. My brother lives here. I was able to get into Boston for a few hours yesterday and do some street hiking. That was until the rain started… and I wasn’t prepared. By the time I made it back to Back Bay for the train out to Station 128 I was pretty soaked. It was fun though… I love exploring. I hope to get back into town on Monday and explore more but for now here are two pics I really like… one of which is a terrible picture but I was hustling to beat the rain, which I failed to do.

This first one was taken in the Boston Commons. The flower is Alium.

This is the hustling pic… a fine mist had begun to fall. It’s blurry but I still like it.
