Techucation - Samsung Windfall: All of South Korea's Textbooks to Go Digital by 2015

My name is John McMillen and I am the Chief Information Officer for Graves County Schools in Mayfield, Kentucky. It is my charge to build and maintain a state-of-the-art technological environment to support a world class education for our students and those who shape and support their education.

“South Korea will redefine primary school education within three years while creating a massive market for home-grown electronics.”

While the talk is ALL about “more technology” what is totally missed in all of this is what there will be LESS of. Get ready printer industry, you’re becoming an afterthought. It won’t happen a day too soon either. From cheap hardware to shoddy software to poorly manufactured and overpriced ink, printers will NOT be missed… eventually.
